ABOUT US
Rock Outcrop Network is a network of individuals belonging to diverse organizations, committed to research and conservation of rock outcrops. We are deeply concerned about the neglect of the special habitat and its deterioration due to human activities. We hope to sensitize society regarding the biological richness, ecological sensitivity and natural beauty of this habitat. Our aim is to conserve the geological, biological and cultural diversity or rock outcrop habitats.
The network was started in 2012 with initial grant from CEPF-ATREE Small Grants Initiative. Since then members of network have successfully accessed funds from national and International funding agencies to strengthen the conservation activities on field.
